Listening with their Eyes (writer)
A documentary following a diverse group of New York City teenagers as they become more confident communicators over the course of a ten-week acting and playwriting workshop. Working with director Gail Noppe-Brandon and editor Amanda Laws, Fox developed the film's narrative arc from raw footage shot in 2005.
Heights (screenplay)
Heights follows five New Yorkers over a whirlwind 24 hours as their secrets emerge and their relationships begin to unravel. Starring Glenn Close, Elizabeth Banks, James Marsden and Jesse Bradford, Merchant Ivory Productions commisioned Fox to adapt her one-act play into a screenplay after the play was produced in 2000.
Stuyvesant Town (screenplay; in development)
The story of two women who fight to find homes for their families and to end a corporate landlord's racial discrimination. Based on a true story of the battle to integrate New York City's enormous Stuyvesant Town housing complex in the late 1940s. Fox's feature article about the real life battle to desegregate Stuyvesant Town was published in the New York Times [pdf or nytimes.com] in 2006. |
